I recently joined the forum after stalking for years....

Briefly....I am 55, My first Job was as a DJ waaaay back in 1979...

Back in the day record companies used to give registred Disc Jockeys promotional singles.

I recieved I wanna be your lover and from the first listen I was Fully on Board, had to order For U since it was not easily available in Australia then.

I have been with Prince ever since then, driving my friends mad coz they just didnt get it.

Even met my first husband over a conversation he was having with someone about Talking Heads being the best Band in the World...

I was Like...errr....No ones going to remember them in 20 Years time.....PRINCE is where its at...

He argued with me...I should have known...Did I mention he was my first husband ? LOL

Anyway...On the Day Prince left this earthly realm, out of the Bluie I recieved a message from my X

"are you okay ? I stand corrected PRINCE was the real Deal"

TOO RIGHT !

Moderators..I want to think you for your upkeep of this forum...Its been a sanctuary for me these last five months and I am SO GRATEFUL...
