Legendary Threads Let me know if I should post this elsewhere
-
After reading the "Prince on the Org" thread posted earlier today, I saw mentioned what sounded like some old wild threads--the "sanddollar story"? "Prince brings disabled girl to tears in D.C."? Photoshop battles? A fresh inquiring mind wants to know and witness For science (and a sense of belonging) Are these threads still even around? Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny |

OY, I have a link to the "DC girl tears" thread but when I post it it's linking to something totally different - wtf?? Copy the text into the url & it works, making it a link doesn't for some reason:
http://prince.org/msg/12/11483?&pg=1
The only other old link I have is to a thread I created basically BEGGING for a celebration - it's legendary to ME, but not exactly legendary
.
[Edited 6/23/16 20:35pm] I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it |

Many things can be found using the Google Custom Search bar in the upper righthand corner of every page on this site. Google will only search prince.org for any keyword(s) you enter. The more keywords you use, the smaller the return is. For example, if you searched just the keyword sanddollar, then https://goo.gl/9itQvc is the response you would get.
Hope that helps to answer your question.
As for legendary threads, I guess that depends on what's important to each user. Would be cool if mods could select certain threads for something similar to Craigslist best of. Most threads that have ever been posted, remain on the site -- unless deleted for some reason by a moderator.
Not a legendary thread, but I had a lot of fun posting this 13 years ago. I enjoy making others laugh. Something to think about on Sunday when you're seeing the actual tributes. Is so-and-so's tribute better than my rumored collaboration, or worse? More often than not, I will bet worse. |

You have to manually insert the www. before the prince.org when adding the url. (Similar to having to hold "Shift" key down when pressing "Enter" to separate paragraphs.)
Therefore http://prince.org/msg/12/11483 Hope that helps.

OMG! Trying to get my Org links to work right has been annoying me for too long. You are so my favorite Orger of the day and it's 12:09 am where I am, so my day has just started. Thank you! [Edited 6/23/16 21:12pm] I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. |

I've thought of creating a thread for site tricks -- but unfortunately it would be moved to the forum that nobody ever goes into. Unless they're like, "Hey, what's this forum?" and then leaving it quickly as if they accidentally walked in on an orgy.
