First of all you posted in the wrong forum.

Secondly, I fully support the moderator's decisions at this trying time. These are people with their own lives, jobs, families etc. and it is not feasible for them to babysit every special snowflake who thinks they need their own separate thread for every scrap of information that surfaces.

What with the flood of new members and everything else that's going on isn't it time to give them some support for a change?

Its not like they haven't already explained the situation because they have and we agreed to the rules when we joined. Period, end of.

Saying it makes no sense is not just a question....it's a judgement.

There is a sticky asking all of us to do our best to be considerate and to me that consideration extends to the moderators too.

I'm noticing that a few members are catching feelings when people don't rush in to applaud their brilliant powers of deductive reasoning or when their precious thread gets shut down.

The respectful thing to do would have been to ask if it's possible to make a few more stickyfied topics because the stickies are a better solution to facilitate ongoing discussion rather than having to read endless mutiple threads regarding the same general subject.

It's like herding cats and it's not reasonable.
