Bullshit.

If anyone wants to post something - anything - they need to be prepared that others are going to disagree. I am forever amused at people that post shit about Illuminati conpsiracies and then get their panties in a wad when someone says that's ridiculous.

My faith and I get called all sorts of names in P&R but that doesn't upset me in the least. It's all part of a free society.

Why those who believe in things like blood scarifices get all pissy when someone disagrees tells me they know in their heart that there are no such things as blood sacrifices, or Goat People, or hand signs that can affect someone hundreds of miles away.

Whoa, mate; calm down. Just as much as you find Illuminati conspiracists to be annoying, others
have a right to believe that your doubt concerning such matters is just as annoying. As you state
ironically in your own post, when it comes to posting or stating an opinion that makes others upset:
"it's all part of a free society" that champions freedom of speech.

So, the people in the Prince forum who are posting things that may be offensive to others have a
right to post those things as "part of a free society." Yet, this Org is not free as we all agreed to
follow its rules! Again, all I'm suggesting is that those who are speculative in the Prince forum who
are posting material that upsets other people should be allowed to do so, if it is done in a manner
that is cordial. This is not bullshit: this is protecting people's rights to offer a point of view that
is not popular, even if it makes people mad or upset. And right now, it appears that there are a
lot of people in the Org who are justifiably upset and sad, but there could be a bit of hyper-sensi-
tivity going on as well.

LOL, yeah. I edited it to remove the cursing because I shouldn't have cursed, but you replied before I edits took hold. Sorry for my foul language.

I didn't say they couldn't post it. I said they shouldn't get their panties in a wad when someone disagrees with them - which they always do. You cannot argue with a conspiracy believer without them going nuts over someone disagreeing with the proposition that Prince was blood sacrificed because the moon was in the seventh house and Aquarious was rising, plus if you add up 4-21-2016, you get 16 which has a square root of 4, which is 2 digits away from 6, and that can only mean 666. This is basically the premise of 90% of the comments on the Vigilant Citizen article and if you ever want to feel good about yourself, just go read those comments and you will never, ever feel more sane.

Is this really happening? Are people being discouraged from speculating on how Prince died?

Ugh; if that's the case . . .

That is not happening.

A 5 minute read of the forum will show that that is categorically not the case.

Tabloid bullshit, however, will likely be snipped. As will anything that garners a lot of reports.

I strong agree. nod And there are pretty of tabloid BS that needs to be refuted, debunked, & snipped.

You think prince.org is the only forum that has been targeted by trolls, agents, and "nut jobs"? Let me remind you that all internet forums, including prince.org & vigilant citizen forums have been targeted for years! For everytime there is someone with real truth information, there will always be an agent, a troll, and/or "nut jobs" that will stop at nothing to bring upon chao just to surpress that real truth information.

Well I've never been to the site Tony mentioned but I take my conspiracy theory related questions to the absurdities sticky and that seems ok. I'm unhappy with all the YouTube conspiracy theories because they are really crazy and darker than the ones I was considering. I'm more of a logical "follow the money" person or "who does this benefit?" I don't believe in the illuminati or sacrifices or mk ultra or whatever. Just good old fashioned mafia type stuff.

Unfortunately the sad day may come where our dear hero is a distant memory sad so that kooky conspiracies are allowed. So that any conversation may keep happening.

There's no way these type of things should overtake the board when we are in full grief mode. And of course denial hampers progress. It may turn out that entertaining conspiracy theories is a way to cling or regress to the denial stage. We can't keep hitting the reset button on fellow fans who are just trying to make due.
No matter the ©️, Paisley Park "official can never ™️ prince. He gave that to us verbally on Oprah in 1996. You can't take prince away from us, corporate. I mean O ( + >

Now THAT^ is a fair conspiracy-related discussion worth having. nod My opinion of course. It's up to all of the mods to agree to allow all orgers to have that kind of discussion.

It would help tremendously if they would stop starting new threads when the topic already exists.

I agree. Duplicate threads and related-topic threads have always been a pet peeve of mine, as people tend to not bother to check if a thread has already been started or they simply want the attention that comes with starting a thread. But it's gotten much worse recently with so many more people posting now and also because of all the news stories about our man. The mods have been doing the best they can and they've been awesome, but keeping up is a very difficult task. I've started a couple topics myself, and I can attest it was a pain checking the first few pages to see if the same topics were already being discussed. Searches don't always help.

seasoned members are taking advantage of the looser allowance during this period and posting stuff like grief is the reason they are not following the rules.

I don't know why they have to push us.

Gotta agree with the mods, I dont usually, but the forum is full of people who seem to be starting threads based on the first thought that comes into their head. No searching to see if it has been said. Most of the threads like this are merely comments that could easily be said in an existing topic. If youve had a thread locked it is either because a) there is another thread already open b) Its offensive (ie had numerous complaints) c) it is absolutely pointless and a waste of a thread title (ie who is feeling sad today?).

ThisOne

I'm not seasonal lol
It wasn't offensive
There was no other thread at the time

We can not discuss the murder theory

Almost Everyday since Prince died a new story, new speculation, a new theory....
We still do not know the official cause of death

like many I would like to know the truth and because nothing official has been realeased there will always be questions about what is floating around out there

I am looking for answers to gossip... lies... speculation... Theory...
because I want to siphon it through discussion for better understanding

Instead I was told there isnt freedom of speech to do that here

It's a huge problem. Even today there's a bunch of new spam topics because everbody thinks that their every whim is worthy of it own thread.

People have run amok and made the forum pretty much unreadable.

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.
