I'd just like to make a suggestion that when something happens with a fellow orger that may require our immediate attention on a large scale, if we could have like a flashing notice on the main page or perhaps a group Orgnote with a link to the topic thread or something?

I'm suggesting this because I know there are a lot of Orgers such as myself, that don't post as much or as often as we used to, nor do we venture into all of the Subforums when we just pop in to lurk and may not see a Sticky in GD until after it's too late or never see it at all.

All we can do on the org is make the thread a sticky. That's usually how it's been done. I know that when I see something like that I make it a sticky. Some folks do alert a mod to make a sticky and some don't.

There is no way to orgnote everyone and alters on a massive scale

Some folks post on Facebook and other social media but do not or forget to post on the org.

These have never been posted on the front page, whether an orger is sick, needs $$, or has passed away,etc.

Yes, I know. That's why I posted this here as a "suggestion", in the sincere hope this could perhaps be discussed, taken into consideration, and maybe even changed.
