Changing Your User Name

Is there any way to change your username here on the Org?

You've only had your account for a few months. Would you be really losing all that much by creating a new one? When I changed my username to this one, I tossed a ten-year history under my old username in the bin.

Why?


This is the username I had always wanted online, but it's too generic for most websites. After posting under my previous name for around ten years, I randomly checked to see who had this one and was surprised to see it wasn't taken (not anymore anyway). It was an easy decision for me to register under this name and retire the old one.

It's still there. Closing an account doesn't erase it from the Org's history. Thankfully.
