Used to have much more traffic on here... Or could that be because Prince isn't on tour right now...moderators used to be punks...now we got OldFriends who puts the sickest threads out in the history of the world...I keep checking for concerts and see there's not many new threads...is the Org as popular as it used to be?

Like any site.......... it has its peaks and valleys.

Social media such as Facebook and twitter are popular.

Not new many threads in concerts coz they only appear if he's doing something at the last minute, or a tour, or a spur of the moment appearance somewhere as well as concert reviews of performances.

I think the energy of the org is defined by what Prince is doing.

For example when he released 20Ten in Europe only, no videos no promo etc

the excitement level dropped off pretty quickly

the Welcome 2 tour starting in Europe (with Sheila E) and Prince showing off a new look:wearing lace shirts showing his biceps ripping open his shirt etc were 'exciting' but after a while the Welcome 2 tour was the same thing over and over, especially since there was no activity at all with 20Ten

.

(If Prince had the Time & the Family opening with him, I suspect there would a different level of energy and excitement, the possibilities of Prince doing some stuff with them ect) -this was also the period when the Family was putting their album together and wanted Prince to a song or 2 with them, and the (original) Time did a nice album and wanted to open for Prince in Australia

yeah he does I hope he sells tix more than 24 hours in advance for his next gigs/tour... when he's in concert the org gets buzzing
