The thread "Do You Think Prince Want To Be A Woman?" is a great example. Although at face value the title seems inflamatory, that is only from the perspective of a protective fan that is numb to the complete picture and reality of what Prince dwells into with his image and songs.

Prince even has a song called "If I Was Your Girlfriend" and also put on complete dragface on the Lovesexy program? He has definitely played up this crossing to the other sex vibe as part of his pop persona. Anyone who is not a fan has thought this. Not only that, but Prince himself did say in an interview on Oprah Winfrey that there was a woman component to his personality. That's a fact. From the horse's mouth.

Really, the locking of threads because a moderator doesn't actually get what is relevant/interesting is embarrassing.

Threads shouldn't be locked unless something criminal/slanderous against a user or possibly ligitious to the site is posted, because sometimes you might not actually understand the relevance of the thread.

Seriously. It's not only embarrassing, it's actually irritating. The moderator shouldn't try to edit the content of the site to their limited perception of what Prince is about. I seen this happen with more than one moderator.
