Topics I recently posted in not showing in topic list?

I have been noticing if I post in a topic and then go to that forum list that topic sometimes doesn't show in that forum list of topics. Is that something I did with my settings or has it always been that way or am I just crazy *well okay more crazy than before*?

oh snap it is that sort by option. nevermind....
