You know what. I have no interst in moderating this site anymore, but this site NEEDS moderators from outside the USA---like in different timezones.

Your members are dispursed throughout the globe, so it would be fitting if you had moderators following the sun too.

We have plenty of orgers in Europe, and quite a few in Australia.

Why are all the moderators in the US timezones?

The MLK--Happy N@gger Day thread(s) were posted at 5:38 AM California time, and as of right now (over 4 hours later), they are still up.

We need you guys to recruit more mods!

i dont think the problem is so much time zones as it is the small number of mods we have. i think the only ones really active are love4u, oldfriends, and langebleu.

there arent enough of them, and they cant be expected to be on all the time to cover the gaps.

i nominate 2elijah, lammastide, and rudedog. they are 3 of p&r's best, and have consistently shown themselves to be fair, level-headed, and wise.

LOL, , but no thanks cborgman. I appreciate that compliment wholeheartedly, but have no interest iat all, in being a moderator on this site. I do however agree with yor other choices, that maybe Lammastide and rudedog could be good moderators, and even 'babynoz', who I see 'fair and balanced', but for me, it would be too much of a headache to be a moderator on this site. That said, I'm an EST time zoner. So from a 24-hour coverage standpoint, I won't add a ton.

We need global coverage. I agree with cborgman that there aren't enough moderators, but we need more Europeans and one or two Australians at least.

Also, throw in a conservative in P&R--there's no way bias can't creep in to moderating those discussions. The reason why I KNOW I'm not good for moderating P&R (among many other forums) is because I would want to bitchslap all the conservatives. And to me, slapping is first base, and that just needs to more promiscuity, lawd. Do you guys see what I'm saying up in here?

i'd have no problem with a conservative mod in p&r if we had a conservative that doesnt flip out. dauphin would have been a good mod, but he started wigging out lately.

you need someone calm, fair, and smart. lammas, babynoz, and rudedog all fill those qualities very nicely

I too was very busy that at that time at work... I got the flags on my phone and stared in

I STILL get all the email Mod notifications and Mod requests for the Forums I was a Mod in and my name is STILL on them too

I know all the Business man and I am NOT a Mod anymore going on 2 yrs now !

Never thought to look .. I'm going to see if I can still access the Mod portal via the emails too
