Forum descriptions need changing.

well, on the General Discussion forum anyway. on both the top of the forum and on the page that has links to all the different forums, it still says that the GD is the place to talk about politics.

Yes, "politics" should be replaced with "anal sex and clits." smile

also, it'd be great if they'd put the name of the moderators next to each forum too, just so we know who we're supposed to deal with. for example, i sent Lavishh a complaint about something in the P&R forum once, and she said she couldn't do anything about it. knowing who to talk to came in handy when the names used to be next to the forum names.

thanks,
aa

I didn't know that they each had their own area to look after. That would be a good idea.

Neither did I. smile We used to have a public listing of the moderators "assigned" to each forum, but we dropped it because all moderators have access to moderate all forums (or at least I think they do).

Maybe LaVisHh isn't handling stuff in the P&R forum because she just joined the team and is focusing her efforts on a few forums for now... but I don't know. That's just speculation on my part.
Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position.

biggrin

Let me help out here. wink

I don't have moderator status in the P&R forum.

I assume the Marketplace is only for ben, no moderator status there either.

Hope this helped clear some confusion.

Back to the point of the thread - yes the forum descriptions need changing.

As for which moderators moderate what forum - there is good reason not to include that information on the site. Abusers of the site may feel they can get away with something on a particular forum because a mod they have been dealing with doesn't have admin rights to that forum. That clearly is unworkable.

I moderate them all, by the way razz

oh, and my point in talking to Lavishh about something in the P&R forum wasn't to avoid dealing with you (i love when you've been dealt with razz). but it was in my argument about Berry. she had been the moderator taking charge of the situation, and when Berry took it to the P&R forum, i asked her to moderate. no biggie...

Exactly right. It was like that, it was causing problems and wasn't working for us, and we changed it. End of motherfuckin' conversation razz smile
