I'd like to know why Anxiety, Mars and RoenHoeck are listed as moderators when Anxiety and Mars appear not to have active accounts. RoenHoeck has not posted since December.

Also, because of Alters and one recent incident, I have concerns about the privacy and ethical attributes of this site. Limiting members to one screen name is significant in keeping the site non-threatening. Transparency should not be anything the .Org is afraid of. Moreover, I would think the .Org would protect its members.

It is my belief that the .Org has lost members due to people's misuse of Alters.

What is the benefit of having an Alter account when one can simply close and re-open an account if they want to change their screen name? Alter accounts are used only for purposes of being shitty to others.

It's impossible to do.

It's too easy to mask IP addresses.

Hell, you can easily even link your own account to completely undrelated accounts when the moderators do their IP sniffs with very little trouble.

It's far too easy to just create accounts under different IP addys, so hunting down alters is pointless.

Several of the alters in GD are used souly for the purpose of humor (and I'm not speaking of my own. I don't really post under alters anymore, because I don't post on the org nearly as much as I used to).

What would make the org less threatening is a duanting task, but more related to the number and quality of moderators, and clear guidelines than anything else. There aren't nearly enough moderators who actually frequent the site. Why is it that all the mods are usually American? Many posters are Australian or European requiring 24 hour coverage.

But, I digress. The number of alters doesn't make a bit of difference in the quality of the site. And it certainly doesn't bloat or inflate the number of active users on the website by any significant amount.

The org has always enjoyed far more traffic than all the other Prince related site. Mainly for the reason that it's had more of a maverick spirit.

Alters used to skirt around temp ban or perma bans get perma banned.

Alters used to harrass other orgers/create trouble are perma banned.
