I have just spent the last hour trying to get "free" webspace so that I can post pictures on the org. Nothing is simple and normally involves a hidden charge. Is there such a thing as "free" web space and can someone guide me to a reliable website please.

I ended up paying 9.95 for a year's worth of hosting at ranchoweb.com and I feel it is a very fair price for the service I get.

But I heard someone mention that boomspeed.com is free.

Have you checked with the provider of your Internet service? Every provider I've dealt with has included at least 1 meg of web space with their standard account packages.

Failing that, you might see if your community has a provider of free public access. The city where I used to live offered, through the public library, a free shell account to any local resident, and I'm pretty sure that web space was included.
