For myself, I first came here during Prince's O2 run. I saw four shows and came here to talk about that. I saw him several times since. And that's all I care to talk about when it comes to Prince. His concerts. I'm a fan of his concerts. You won't see me in any other Prince sections, as that is boring to me.

I do like to talk about music though and Michael. I'm not the only Michael fan here, as some Prince fans are also Michael fans and some people just like it here. It's less restricted here to talk about him, as, at the time, you couldn't really level any constructive criticism towards Michael without 500 people jumping down your throat, that is different here and it was fun at the time. Of course, there are some Prince-Fan-Jerks, who feel threatened and post shit, but I can deal with that.

The problems are:

#1 People post about Michael Jackson too much. There have been 10 threads in the past 10 days (this number is excluding the half-dozen+ Jackson 5/Jacksons threads) ... 10 threads have been posted in the last ten days, despite the fact that each of those threads clearly broke site rules. How many threads would there be if MJ topics weren't against the rules?

#2 Certain MJ fans constantly flame anyone with negative opinions about Michael; and MJ threads almost always get out of hand (lots of off-topic, trolling, flaming, etc.)

Anybody who pays attention to my posts knows I'm a fan of Michael's music. I don't support the sticky, but I don't support flooding the forums with MJ either..

I agree that people should obey the rules or leave. I've been saying that all along. But if people only want to talk about MJ, that is their business.. so long as they aren't breaking any rules (which a few have been doing).
