Therein lies the problem:Assume. The initial post is pretty clear of what I hoped to get started. So we can all get an understand all around. Bringing in other topics and personal issues just hijacks the thread and opens it up for another battle.

You're constantly attacking my character. I'm going to ask that since you've answered in post #6 that you let some other members post their Pro or Con posts/ideas and then we can begin to come to some understanding on both sides.

Most of us participating have already come to an understanding. You're the only one standing on the other side.

Please let me re-iterate that my posts on this thread are about the use of snipping as it is currently employed on this site.

And I have not attacked your character, as you keep saying. I have not attacked you or anything about you. I have, however, criticized your style of moderating -- in this thread in particular, about your employment of the snip.

I've made my thoughts known. At least to you, since you've snipped all of my comments on the subject. Perhaps making them known, if only to you, will make some small bit of difference in the future and the way that these issues are handled.

I don't see what he's been saying as attacking your character.

Expressing displeasure of moderator decisions is fair enough if that's how he feels.

No need to take things personally when it's not.

It obvious that there are people that have been around here for a long time. Some for longer than many of the moderators. They've invested energy and time to this place, so they want to see it flourish. If they feel some moderating are hindering it, gosh darn it they should be listened to.
