MODS: HTML Why was Html disabled in the forums? We can still post pictures using the UBB code. Would you consider bringing it back!  | |

I think it was always meant to be disabled... last time I talked to Ben about it (before I took on the moderation stuff) I think he said it was only enabled by accident. | |

I guess it would leave the forums open to abuse. It was just a thought. Yeah I think there were concerns about people posting malicious HTML or javascript. Not sure what the reasons were... but god knows the site is slow enough without people embedding more HTML content in their posts | |

I would think even an accidental bit of unclosed tags in someone's post could ruin the entire page/thread! Fear is the mind-killer. | |
