I think it's very obvious who she is on the org now.

She was . I was also thinking about another orger Nastradamus Kid. She was funny, cute, but very blunt . She said her college studies was a priority right now.

YEAH THAT WAS IT! I think I remember seeing the conversation. I think I saw it on the Music & More section.

I don't care, the Jacksons threads are actually getting more ridiculous then when I first came here four years ago. And the threads with Beyonce and Rihanna would be better if people who claim to HATE them so much LEAVE THEM ALONE!

and I don 't get why anyone could want to leave the org permanently
sure the P&R forum is a dangerous mental asylum and the GD forum is a rather odd/mean place sometimes, but for me the org's MUSIC: NON PRINCE forum is still ONE of the best forums about R&B-MJ-Madonna-Funk-DancePop
and of course the Prince forum is the still THE best AND only place to go when I wanna talk about The Kid's music...

I also believe that the changing of the generation guard has a lot to do with why the "boredom" of music:non-prince exist at the moment.
Before the 2010's, I remember that this forum would talk a lot about the 1970's & 1980's music a lot.
But since the 2010's got started, a lot of people started to look at the 1990's more often than before. It's fair game for those orgers whos childhood/teenage years were the 1990's. But what was everyone else's excuse?
From my view, the 1990's is the first ever unoriginal decade for music. Yes, I give thanks and praises to 1990-93 thanks in large parts to many sub-genres in hip-hop/rap and electronic music (especially house, hip-house, & latin freestyle) at the time. But 1994 was the beginning of a slow decline musically. Granted, 2pac was still interesting until he was murder. And Master P/No Limit Soliders might have been a last ever great era for hip-hop/rap (IMHO!). But everything else about the 1990's with its grunge rock, media corporations takeover of FM radio stations and so forth made me think........whatever, it's time to buy a Web TV console and spend some time in those internet chat rooms more often.

I love the 1990s. I don't give a FUCK. 1970s and 1980s kids get to post their shit and I love that shit so I think it's only FAIR Tony.

it got boring when beyonce, rhianna, lady gaga, ect started to dominate the topics, also since mj died all jackson threads now turn into a dabate on how much the fans hate his family, love his kids, love the estate and all the other nonsense.

So this is more of a I miss my friends and let's play popularity contest thread right?
Why is the org boring? well why aren't you making it interesting?
Yes facebook and other social sites are killing the org, but then again certain people including some mods starting doing that a while back.
Also when people are missing someone who spews racist remarks, Mike Matronick or whatever name he decides to hide under and another who has no respect for anyone and is rude wanker on his best day, Ernest, then members and mods turn around and say 'oh they are just misunderstood' ? really? i guess people think hateful remarks and slandering people/artist for no other reason than not liking there album cover, means good discussion.
why is the org boring or why are you dwelling on the past? LOL. and when is MUSIC really discussed on here. isn't it just a gossip column, or let's pick apart people we don't like instead of sharing and posting on this we DO like?
YES, I miss the other people mentioned. and yes, i already can see the replies to this and who exactly may respond to this, no shock there.
there is plenty of good new MUSIC to discuss, there are millions of topics and good things to start threads about. so if you don't like it..log off. or delete your account or just don't post. if they've all gone on to facebook, or shitter i mean twitter, then follow suit. isn't that what those sites are for? to follow?
or maybe appreciate the people that ARE here and enjoy lighthearted debates about MUSIC.

I can safely say mothafuck Blackguitaristz!
We were cool, up until he posted that song of his, it was like a tribute to his dad or something?
Well, he sent me the link to the thread/song via orgnote and I told him that I liked the track etc etc but he demanded that I publicly profess my appreciation in the thread, which I refused to do.
I tried to explain that there was no need for me to do that because I told him directly how I felt about it, and that is the only thing that matters, but his desire for an ego boost/more dickriding was much stronger than our "friendship".
Fuck him.
You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

You too? You know when I think about it, I thought what I was doing was positive to him but I guess I'm too much of a "nice guy" to simply say "no I'm not gonna do that"...

preach!
ha! I was 7 years old in 1992 and already badass as hell, trying to get into house/techno clubs (hiding behind my sisters), and tryin' to touch some ass and pussy without being seen (because I was short back then), and listening to Nirvana, GNR, Prince and Madonna, watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air...
90s = TOP Decade...

My sentiments exactly. If the site is such a ridiculous snooze fest, do something about it, reverse the mood, and create threads that you think will generate interest and perhaps attract new members. Why look back on who cancelled their accounts, what's happening on Facebook, or what might have been? Improve upon what we have here (if you can).
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Are some of you seriously getting your panties in a bunch simply because a few of us decided to reminisce about the past for a sec? "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I don't think no one's being a "tightwad" about people sharing memories here, but I think I've seen this topic come up every once in a blue moon in the last two years I've been in here out of four.
