If I lived in Thailand I would get you to teach me how to do more than post remarks. I have some learning issues that make it dificult to follow directions and sometimes I simply have to be shown how to do something.

Given the amount of time I have for this place now I would like to give more to it. I really can see such a future for the org if it reinvents itself a bit. Oh, I googled "Deadflow3r" and came up with a shitload of great pics; did you do that?

The show of support for this forum is heartwarming and dickhardening. If we don't get it though I guess we'll just keep being slutty in GD.

I totally get what you're saying about being tired of the finger-wagglers and prudes.

But, yeah, several years ago, there were a couple of Orgers who were very, very vocal for many months about getting a forum just for sexual topics. It was argued by mods and users until finally there was a forum created called "Love, Sex & Relationships."

It failed for a few reasons - One, people still wanted to be able to discuss these things in GD! We come here to talk about all the stuff going on in the world and our lives, right? Suddenly, any thread about your relationship or sex life was off-topic for GD! That sucked.

Also, the Love, Sex & Relationship forum, like someone else posted, turned into a den of absolute filth. Which sounds great and all, but there are plenty of sites for nonstop unadulterated raunchy nasty sex - the Org just hasn't ever been one of them, and it raised all sorts of issues that Ben had never had to face before and wasn't willing to (underage users, etc.) This is a community of many people from many different walks of life, and I think it's at its best when it tends toward a happy medium of the interests and comfort zones of all the users.

In other words, we need the prudes to keep us in line because we can't do it ourselves.

Thanks. It does make sense. I guess the reason why I would like it is that we already know each other and it is not just sex that we talk of. I don't go on any other forums at all. I wonder if I should. What I like about discussing sex with the Prince folks is that they are all real people with fleshed out personalities. They also talk about school, health, fashion, movies and a host of other things so i am more comfortable opening up with all of you then I would be with strangers on a purely sex forum.

I certainly could see how it would need it's own mods, and a mod at all times aswell. I also would not put relationships in there. Our 16 year old orgers date too and should feel free to talk about it.

But that becomes hard, too, because what about a thread that's about someone's issues in their relationship with their girlfriend, and one of those issues has to do with their sex life. Would that thread go in the General Discussion forum because it's about relationships? Or in the Sex/NSFW forum because it pertains to sex? Let's say it gets moved, but then gets completely taken over by perverts who only want to talk about perverted sex, but this person just wanted some real advice from their friends in GD? Also, from experience we know that different mods would be less than consistent in which threads get moved, and things could get a bit ugly.

The sex & relationships forum also started a bunch of sports fans (and users sick of hearing about sports) asking for a sports-only forum. I think that also made Ben realize that he didn't want to split hairs with the forums. It is a Prince site, after all. It makes sense to have one forum for all non-Prince and non-music related stuff - once you start breaking it out into different topics, it turns into something else. I remember Ben saying something to that effect. It's a Prince site, and that's how he wanted to keep it.

I don't know what the record is for this forum but 6 pages on any site discussion is pretty much unheard of. I also noticed that since I posted this we have had an avalanche of saucy sex threads in GD. We even have nursev from PM&M coming over to GD specifically to talk about her vulva lips. I would say it is something in the air but we are all in very different places so that that is not it.

Too bad. I sometimes wish we would go into greater detail. I don't know of any good forums out there so if anyone knows of any sites I should check out please let me know.
