I think a separate sex forum is a good idea. Sex threads can be fun--once in a while. But too many of them in one place can become too much, choking out other interesting subjects. Although it might not have worked in the past maybe its time has come.

What's the point? No matter what the topic is there can always be some people posting some vile pics or leaving dirty comments. (Like the image posted on this thread that was sooo uncalled for.) And their intention doesn't even matter. Whether they're trying to make others laugh or just being themselves, it always happens.

I just think this will make things even more complicated for the moderators. What if someones starts a thread about, oh I don't know, a movie star and people start commenting on how badly they wanna bone him/her and then someone else comes along and starts getting specific about what they wanna do to him/her sexually....blah blah blah. Just because that thread's initial topic was to simply say that he's a good actor, should the thread stay in general discussion? Or should it belong to sex/relationship/fetish/whatever subforum?

Sure there will be stuff that straddles the two threads. I just think that there is a fairly good size group of raunch loving orgers who could hold up their own forum and still contribute to GD aswell.

But it is true, the enthusiasm is not there for Ben any longer.

To me the hope of this community that I have come to love dearly moving forward lies in it's allegience to all things besides Prince. Most Prince fans listen to a great deal of music besides Prince and talk about a variety of subjects besides Prince. I love it here!!! I think we have to downplay the Prince aspect of the community to survive this "man overboard" phase where the "man" is the captain himself.

I think its a great idea! It will probably be the most visited forum on the org.. Oh, and can we get Titty and Kidadynamite their own forum as well, or at least a sticky! Those 2 need to get a room!!...

IMO it was pretty tame and lame. It was a forum of threads like the ones you see in GD everyday about relationships and random sex stuff. There weren't any Photowhore your random body part threads, or threads about big asses, like there've been in GD over the past few years. The "Love, Sex and Relationships" forum as it was called (affectionately called the LSR forum) was juut like any forum today where you click on it and expect to see certain orgers.

But you are correct in this was around 2004 or so. All the backlash about the forum came from the org community during that time. And the only reason for the backlash, if I remember correctly, was that they didn't want people coming to the org specifically for this forum ( how is that different from any other forum? )and that it was unsecured, and underage people could log in.
