Nah. I've been a moderator and it really ain't that hard to make that adjustment. Besides, one clear positive, I'd treat everyone the same. biggrin

I hope we're not closing every thread that doesn't kiss Prince's arse.

I don't think anybody wants that, but there's been a lot of hateful stuff that should have been snipped and repeat offenders banned. That's obviously different than constructive criticism and mature debate. There's a lot (and I do mean a LOT) of really awesome Prince fans on FB and other places that simply won't visit here because of it. And they aren't ass-kissers, but the unnecessarily spiteful and hateful stuff that gets said just makes them not want to post here at all, and it's sad because many of them are cool and knowledgeable peeps who could contribute a lot.

Thank god. Let's get people in here with internet-capable skin and a sense of humor. Leave the point and click drones to Facebook.

I'm afraid that with "internet-capable" you mean people who are willing to benefit from internet's anonymity to insult others or to despise new fans, things that are frequently seen in the org. I'm not internet-capable then, and glad about it.

Yes, exactly. It's completely incorrect to state that people who dislike seeing personal, hateful comments about Prince don't have a sense of humor.
