VANITY and broken links Alright, I know I'm beating a dead horse like Ted Haggar beats his meat to gay porn,
but it's been well over a year now (or has it been more?) since we've gotten this new
'state of the art' interface and stuff.
But simple things like the links not working are still everywhere. I understand that they're are workarounds, but seriously---is it that difficult to fix the linking issue?
Why is there even a linking issue to begin with? It's very frustrating, because when I drop to just plain, native HTML and do it a an " <a href="> type of statement, it still gets fucked up by this interface and the link points back to Vanity's insane ass.
What's the issue with the links? Is it being worked on?

url in front of link and /url at end of link. with [ on both sides of the words url and /url
This works everytime.

Just to point out why this is silly.
It's like asking folks who want to search within the website to jump to google.com and then type in the thread title and prince.org/ or whatever. It's really not a solution, but a bandaid.
Why is it that bandaids are treated as solutions around here?
I know this is a free site, and the website creator is busy, but the link issue can't possibly be that difficult a fix. | |
