Auto save frustration

I don't know if it's just me, but the autosave feature keeps unnecessarily saving crap or something. I keep having this green box show up on random occasions and I can't ever get rid of it, then out of nowhere it'll disappear, and no unfinished post is ever saved when i need it tobe. What r the detaails on that thing and can I turn mine off?

The only way to get rid of it is by clicking "Cancel Reply" when that green box shows up.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Not always the case. When I click the auto-save screen I get this error message:

Not Found

The requested URL /msg//msg/post.php was not found on this server.

Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at prince.org Port 80
