Mods should be like presidents, you should only be able to be one for a certain length of time and then your # should be retired. I would most deffinately not vote any of the main players on the org that have already developed strong friendships that included trips and martini's. Who would want to be in a position of editing a close friend?

It has to be someone whose friendships are not so obvious, maybe someone fairly new too.

For fairness I would suggest Lammastide and Shyra. They think before they "speak"

That Timmy84 or Timmy 87 whatever is a good choice. He is young, gay, black, three things that may be different then the current selection of mods. He is also male, how many male mods do we have?

Someone not white, not from the continent of North America, not straight and under 30, who ponders what they are going to say before they say it and has as much time to roam around the threads as purplemookiebut would be my first choice!

I have been calling for this forever. Or at least controversial mods should have the good sense and self awareness to know when its time to go.

I also think it can't be that much fun. I honestly think CarrieMPLS would be happier if she wasn't a mod because she posts less and less. Ottensen and Graycap would be good choices because they are even tempered and their opinions don't readily offend. Identity would be another good choice. I won't nominate myself. Nope. I'd be handing out bans like christmas candy. I said I wouldn't but....well, I'd have to maintain some level of decorum. I'd only hand out bans to like 3 or 4 of you depending on what day of the week it was.

I have been attacked by SCNDLS without any reason at all and I see her attack others (with and without reason) and that IMO is the reason why she gets attacked here. She is no innocent saint. A mod should not be someone who loves to provoke others. BTW I never said I am always attacked, I said I was attacked and that it hurt me, that's a difference. I don't think I am attacked here a lot compared to other orgers. And I am sure not dishing anything out on a fucking regular (if that part is directed at me too) . But as I totally agree with you about Kim she would be a good mod too IMO.

SCNDLS doesn't attack unless she is attacked first and even then she is tactful in her replies. I don't see her calling orgers names or coming at them first with some BS commentary. I've even asked her "what the hell is it and why they come at you like that?" cuz honestly, I don't see why she gets some of the reaction that she does.

What I often see is SCNDLS voicing her opinion and then certain other orgers come flying in like prison gangsta queers on fresh jail booty. Yeah I said it! Its like some people can't stay off her ass. Now I would think that if you didn't like someone or even thought they were too high minded or outspoken or even rude, you'd ignore them. Right? Now maybe I am wrong and people come after SCNDLS not because they despise her but because they envy her. I mean what else could it be? You either envy the woman because she's content with herself and her life or you despise the woman because she is a free thinker and doesn't agree with you half the time or ever. The latter part is a stupid reason to hate somebody but we engage in highschool behavior from time to time and just like in highschool, there are cliques on the org and when one has beef with another...so do their friends have beef with that same person.

I am not totally sure if I understand what "partaking in jabs" means correct but I guess it means that Sextonseven attacked her and I took part in that? There were some threads where she and I had heated discussions, but I cannot remember any thread like that as Sextonseven usually is never the kind of person who attacks others from what I see here.

He did just the same... and you took part in it. I don't know a full history or account of any disagreements of years past, I am just going by what might set you off again recently.
