Vysyons' best solution for dealing with drama queens While I may not post often, I have been around here for a bit.
As I do in life, I do here on the Org, meaning I choose not to post unless I truly have something to say or add to the conversation. And something has caused me to start this thread (which may or may not be ignored).
Over the years I have watched many drama queens, for a choice of a less slanderous name, take over threads, create havok and unleash some really nasty sides in some otherwise nice people. At first these attention seeking individuals seem to be somewhat sane and mature, asking advice, seeking companionship, and so forth, but after awhile their true nature comes out and sets everyone off their rockers.
So what's a good (and some so-so) Orger to do? Ignore them. If they post once seeking advice and refuse it, maybe the advice wasn't helpful. If they post again for advice (especially if on the same issues) and they refuse it, they are ignoring you and just want the attention. Drama queens (of both sexes) just want attention. SO replying to them, whether in their own thread or someone else's thread is an excercise in futility... . I think you get my point.
So next time said drama queen (attention seeker, nut job, you fill in the blank) posts just walk away and
That's my [Edited 4/4/11 17:44pm] OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
