DELETED and/or MISSING THREADS What the fuck is this bull shit?
Why delete/remove a thread and not tell the OP?
Why do some threads get to stay up even though they're locked but others get removed entirely?
You know what I'm talking about because it's probably happened to you.

The OP gets an orgnote. Even if they requested their thread deleted. The OP gets an orgnote when their thread gets taken eg. for review.
Threads that get taken down permanently are those for example requesting bootlegs or some thread that's gone really bad eg. flame fest.

That's a lie. I've had MANY threads deleted without any explanation whatsoever even when there was NO conflict or argument. You mods are very inconsistent in how and when you delete vs. lock threads and snip comments. | |

I never got an orgnote when my most recent thread on the news story about a man committing bestiality was removed. In fact, I've contacted OPs via orgnote about their missing threads and often they are unaware of what happened.
Why delete a thread anyway? I've seen threads that contained some pretty suspicious and inappropriate posts get locked. They remain visible for everyone to see the commentary.

You have a concern with your thread being locked. Take it up with the mod in question via orgnotes. Contact the mod that locked it.
