What appears is that the org is hanging itself slowly, what used to be a fun place to hang out at, has become a den of silliness, and personally I think the mods do not want to do anything because they see it the same way, takes way too much energy. So I say the org should be modless and let it fall on it's own.

Seriously though...I think there's a complacency at place and unfortunatly, there are a couple mods who don't seem to understand that change is good and that possibly it might be time for them to go. Ben, Val and Matt, not being as hands on as they used to, are happy that there are people here watching over things without realizing that in the past, there has been an organic change of the guard and have allowed a certain few to have absolute power. And that, per my sig, is never a good thing.

Yes, I'm a grown man. But that will NOT be enough to prevent a troll or a racist to enter a thread to cause problems.

Mods are needed to prevent these problems. The moment the org stop having mods is the moment orgers are going to read AND make comments that are like the kind we see on YouTube......and we all know the racists, trolls, & flamebaiters get away with too much mess.

I agree, but as it is their 1st amendment right to say dumb shit it is also your right to not reply and or walk away from it, and not get into heated arguments. So while they look Ignorant the other person look in the mirror and know they haven't had their spirit broken by ignorance.
