Do u? I remember when i first got internet and there were 3 sites I knew of,housequake,prince.org,and Princefams. I remember just choosing one and I went with Housequake,probably cuz of the name and it kinda looked better than the others. I remember an awesome video forum on HQ too.

In a way. If I wanted information, I went there. Didn't particularly care for the users, though. A bit snobbish and insular, looking down their noses at other sites. Not all of them, but some. It was like a web version of A.M.P. Except not as vitriolic.

But it was great for photos and facts.

Yes. It was *the* place to go for information on Prince. I learned a ton there and met a lot of great people through HQ, some that I still stay in touch with.

Yeah I miss it loads. It was great for just throwing a question out there and getting loads of concise, interesting facts and figures. Plus the bootleg forum was fantastic. I remember when there were posts saying 'New to boots? Send some blank discs and I'll get you started' as well as new bootleg trees, etc...

It just seemed a very sharing sort of place... Then the lawyers moved in and it just changed to a very closed, less trusting place. Mainly because it had to to survive, but a lot of the happiness went out at the same time.

Oh and the more wacko Fams were scared of the place, so you didn't get half as many nutjob posts as you do here.

The bootleg forum was fantastic but I honestly would never get tired of trying to set fire to some of the moderators' faces with two sharp flints. I would roast some of the other moderators on it once I got it going.
