how come the ORG rules forbid my calling another ORGer a 'fucking midget' (which would get snipped) but if i post a comment calling prince a fucking midget, it is never snipped?

shouldn't the rules apply to all posts? regardless about whom they are made?

The only person that can offer a hard answer on that is the site owner.

My personal opinion? We allow people to express their opinion on Prince; positive or negative and do not try to control that opinion. We allow the super fans and the lovers to do what they do and we allow the people that are pissed off to have their say as well.

Since the board is a dialog between the people posting, we try to keep the personal attacks between participants to a minimum to encourage more openness of opinions. No one should be afraid to post their true opinion because of their fear of attack from another poster.

non-the-less.... the site is dedicated to Prince ..and Prince fans. Or fans that want to learn more about Prince.

There are plenty of fans who are scared to post. They lurk but they say they
are scared of ya'll...and that they are looking for other Prince sites that they can go to. This is what folks are org noting me and telling me from out the clear blue. I dont know why... they tell me this. maybe cuz they feel comfortable with talking to me knowing.. i'm not gonna bite their head off for being a person.

there's a group of folks here doing plenty of attacking new org members.
both verbally and full on cyber attacking. apparently they've been on the org for quite some time...they all know each other and they think that gives them some kindof right to hurt innocent people.

lets not be an ostrich and pretend it isnt' happening. I lost two computers since I've been on the org ... do to these cyber attacks. Plus countless statemetns that just make ya feel so unwelcome ...like a stranger in my own skin. I didn't hurt anybody. Iwould have left but I dont like to be intimidated especially by a gropu of bully's. it's not right.

I think I agree with Ecks on this one.

Just because we can slag him (because he's not an active member) doesn't mean we should. I'm all for criticism of the guy but surely we can retain some class in the process.
