Serious feature request for prince.org

.
On fams we could pick our time zone and all the posts reflected our correct time there-after. This has always bugged me about the org...so here's my feature request!

Also, could you put a space between the thread title and first post--so I don't have put a period in there like I just did?

(Ben, the org is still the fastest discussion board I've EVER seen--two enthusiastic thumbs up!!!)

Only if we have a special "Indiana EST" option, which you may have noticed in Microsoft Windows and many other programs. smile Most of Indiana is in the Eastern Time Zone and does not observe Daylight Saving Time.

We also have a few counties that are in the Central Time Zone and do observe DST (Chicago metro area and Evansville area), and some counties in the Eastern Time Zone that unofficially observe DST (Louisville and Cincinnati metro areas). I've even found one county where some people/institutions observe DST and others don't--they speak of "fast time" and "slow time" there. Good thing my watch has a feature that allows the wearer to monitor two time zones at once. smile
Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position.

confuse

It wouldn't be hard to enable the user to add or subract from the current time, to set theirs.

And I agree...I always place a : at the top of my new threads, just to seperate the beginning from the name of the thread.

I add my signature to teller's request.

biggrin

That would suit me just fine...anything that would get the correct local time going on here.

The time zones suck. When I am awake the org is asleep. When I have to sleep the org is awake.
