Org Notes I sent an Org note yesterday to someone who posted a not-so-nice post on one of my threads. I felt this was the civilized way to handle the situation.
Today upon checking the sent Orgnote I found it had been deleted (not by me). The policy is the following: Retention policy: orgNotes are automatically deleted 30 days after the first time they are read, or after 90 days if unread. Who is controlling this? Why are these things done in an arbitrary manner? If a Moderator is responsible, this is something the .Org needs to look at, seriously. This is not the first time I have been targeted by a Moderator and my belief is that it is most likely the same Moderator. I would be happy to share the name of that moderator should the other Moderators wish to know. Personal vandettas really diminish the credibility of this site. I would imagine if its happening to me, its happening or has happened to others.

Wow you're getting WAY ahead of yourself.
Before the conspiracy theory goes any further, the org nor any org moderator has any control over your orgnotes, especially those in your sent folder. If the recipient deletes it, it is deleted and will no longer show up. Notice that retention policy says automatically. The org has no control over manual deletions. Now, if we want to get to the right way to handle flames, that would be to report the flame using the report to moderator link in the thread. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

However, it is also possible and most likely probable that the sent org note was deleted because as I have just discovered, the .Org member who I sent it to no longer has an account. Please confirm.

That would also result in the orgnote being gone from your sent folder. Either scenario provides evidence that something other than a mod action resulted in the deletion of the orgnote. I think that's the only way forward, naming names.... That's what I'd do.
