How long did you lurk before you decided to join the Org
For me it was about 3 years!
I think I must hold the world record for lurking

Only for the inital "wait to become active after joining" period ...

I never lurked

I signed up the first time I hit the site.

I signed up first and then lurked. I didn't post for about a year. I thought the Org was very negative and didn't want to post to a place that disrespected Prince so much.

I did a lot of lurking during the 70's and 80's. Eventually I was asked not to.

I lurked for a year or two (not regularly), then joined 2 years ago. Lurked a little more before my first post around february this year.
I was hesitant about posting to begin with because everyone seemed to know each other so well - I felt like I was gate-crashing.
