Yeah,I tried to invite a couple of friends and they were turned off by some of the post also. They considered the bickering, unnecessary drama and I respected that. But they all enjoyed the GD forum,but eventually none of them joined.

I do. About 3, one didn't like what she saw written about her here.

There are MANY Prince fans who probably wouldn't dream of hanging out around here.

I know plenty, actually. The Org has a bad reputation for being full of sycophants, people who obsess over fucking or marrying the guy and seem to think they have a chance, and shallow to outright nonexistent talk of his music.

Not to mention the outright fucking crazy people, some of whom are rearing their heads in this thread.

I'm not in contact with any other Prince fans yet, though it was one of my intentions when I joined the org hastily as soon as I discovered it. Too bad I didn't have a look at it first... My mistake of course. It keeps making me regret that decision day by day... I'll probably not be here for long because this is not a friendly place. I'm not used to tolerating abusive behaviour. I've been a member to a few fan forums and even administrator and moderator to a couple of them (one of which international) but I've never encountered a situation like this before. It's more like a jungle than a civilised place to hold intelligent discussion. Really sad.
