Since WHEN is it ok for a group of people to harass and insult a member continually throughout several pages of posts here simply because they are offended by someone's opinion?

Why is it allowed? Why do people feel entitled to abuse others? This place is getting more and more fucking pathetic by the day.

Guess what people? You don't like someone's opinion? Too fuckin' bad! That does not give you the right to bully on someone else collectively.

It seems to me that a lot of folks here need to step away from the computer and go OUTSIDE!!!

It's just funny to me that I get snipped and disciplined for the things that I say, yet a group of people can insult away on one person forever and not have anything happen to them.

I have learned first hand that the mods have final say so.
I started a thread in P&R at 3am, then another orger came along and started a dup thread at 8am the same date (I am sure he did not do it on purpose).I was notified that my thread was locked.
I have never seen that happen before, usually the thread that was started last gets locked.


Nothing surprises me anymore.

I would've definitely reported a LOT of posts on a certain thread I read, but it's locked. It's there, though, for all the world to see. It should've been removed completely.

It amazes me how utterly fucking STUPID people are with their comments.

Oh, and in response to the thread - it's because this group of people bully the mods, or the mods agree with them. The prospect of the group creating shit all over the site (as opposed to what they're doing now :irony: ) is apparently not very appealing to the mods.
Unfortunately, no amount of trying to make Ben aware of this problem, not to mention appealing to him, has succeeded - he just doesn't respond. At all. So, live with it. I'm sorry it's happening to you.

Oh it wasn't me it was happening to. I just think it's rather disgusting to see several very chickenshit people gang up on one person. I think the mods may be afraid to do anything lest they're labeled something unsavory.

If you are talking about the GD thread that got locked yesterday, I was part of it and I do not think anyone ganged up on that person. He/she was there to rile people up and succeeded.

If you are talking about some other thread, I'd be curious as to which one it is so I could have some kind of context.

Sometimes that person's opinion is beyond ignorant and troll-like that it warrants the insults, imo.....especially if that person is refusing to listen to the other side.
