Threads You Avoid/Refuse To Post On?? Is there a thread on the Org right now that you refuse point-blank to open? Or want to respond to but don't, for whatever reason?? Or maybe there's a particular type of thread (say P&R-based) that you won't dive into? Or maybe you stay way from an entire forum?? Tell us which threads and why! Here's your chance to answer that thread/burning question/hot topic without having to go on the actual thread itself.

There are times when u are just bursting to reply to something but u really don't want to be perma banned

Personally, I tend to stay away from the P&R forum. I go in there, yeah, but stay away from the debates. There are very interesting conversations, and some Orgers are soooo well-informed - I learn so much - but haven't got the time/patience/inclination to get into an online shouting match. It's much more interesting to watch from the sidelines, sometimes.
The 'Kanye West: I am the NEW King Of Pop' and 'Is R Kelly as good a vocalist as Marvin Gaye?' threads... Just from the titles alone, I know they'll irritate me so much that if I post on them, I will hate seeing them pop up in My Org everytime they get a response. Must. Resist. Temptation. To. Respond.

There are loads of threads that I often see and think but, for whatever reason, don't respond to. For loads of reasons (too irritating/too personal/whatever). Then there's the whole My Org thing. . the P&R forum, completely. no good comes from going in there.
also, the MJ R.I.P thread that was like 3,000 posts long kind of killed my interest/ability to go into that one and i haven't been in the new one now either. too many damn pictures, etc. i'm assuming that any news that i actually care about (like a new album, etc.) will get its own thread.

- Most threads in P&R... esp. the religion ones.
- Ones in GD where the sex talk is way to personal, or TMI. - Ones by certain Orgers (don't EVEN ASK! ) - Cat threads. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

Some of the fans who truly believe their only purpose in life is to serve the purple one or that they are the one Prince should/will marry..I find it hard NOT to respond to those posts...
Sometimes I just want to know whether they're taking the piss or if they truly believe what they're saying.....but I'm learning to restrain myself..but..it's..soo.....hard...not....to!!!!! Anyway, they do provide a good laugh though and it would be quite boring without those nutters.

Yeah, it takes all sorts - I've given up trying to explain the appeal of this site to my mates; even my MJ fanatic friend, who goes on the MJ websites, doesn't 'get' the Org. I always describe it as a 'soap opera' - you get all the characters and types, except it's a real slice of life.

I never go to P&R, despite the fact that my educational background is in Political Science. I refuse to discuss politics on line in any fashion, not just the org.
I rarely go to Non-Prince and Associated Artists. I never find them compelling. The threads I do hit are M&M, GD, Lotus, and this one. Unfortunately, all of the threads have been severely lacking in any topics of interest. Perhaps it is the time of year. I hope it picks up soon. This place does seem to go in phases - and always picks up when Prince releases something/performs, of course.

Sometimes when following a thread and finding that certain Orgers have posted on it I just jump to another thread - I find some Orgers' attitude to others' opinion really annoying or narrow-minded, that I won't waste my time in reading all their negative Lion -- Go Peter go!!

No?? Even the Org interviews?! Or is it the threads about them you're not interested in? My respect for the has grown and grown over the last few years - they speak with such candour, and have so many interesting things to say/perspectives, I love reading their interviews. Plus, they sometimes have hilarious things to say about Prince. The last two interviews gave a fascinating glimpse into their dynamic/relationship. It was like watching two old friends of the family, at their place. Not two musicians who have sold millions of records and played to thousands of people.
