Event Alert Overdose

Does anyone know how to stop 'past' events from filing my mailbox? I've tried to reply to the message and also have tried to contact prince.org.

Each day i am receiving dozens of alerts for a past event, ie:
Date: 2009-01-31 (YYYY-MM-DD format)
Title: Teleseminar with Dr. Fink.

How do i make it stop?

I don't want to cancel the 'event alert' in case there is an upcoming event that I'd like to go to.

I got so many of those I finally cancelled the alert option. disbelief
