The Prince.org Appreciation Thread Since no one else has done it. I'd just like to take this time to say how much this wonderful little website was such a great help to all the "TRU fans" that flocked over to Lotusflow3r.com, ran into all kinds of trials and tribulations, only to have to come back over here for assistance because there was nowhere else to turn. Without this un-official site, y'all would have been some lost little fams.
Take a moment and thank Ben, the owner of this site and the Mods. who did a fantastic job keeping things orderly and under control. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!  I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. | |

Amen to that! Without all of the help from Ben and all the mods on the org most people (including myself) would have been totally lost!

I truely want to thank prince.org  I am so not a computer wiz kid, but reading everyone's advice, I have finaly got all the albums downloaded. I love the music and hope the website gets smoother because there are a lot of videos I'd like to check out.
I do feel like I am in a very exclusive club. You'd have to be a serious fan to go through all this trouble, and without the added help of my fellow orgers, I would have given up. At least we know those who are members are really fans of the music, not a bunch of silly knunckleheads.

For setting up a direct working helpline for the lotusflow3r.com, Ben should get paid by Prince.
Simple as that. This site provided a service that wasn't available at the official site where you had to pay $77 in advance without seeing what was to come or what was available. | |

I don't know anything about Prince's new site apart from what people tell me about it and that goes in one ear and out the other, but I DO know that I love this site most of the time. It's outlived loads of things, including Prince's past online ventures. Ben and Kevin are awesome for having created it, Matt for being around in the early days and of course Val for taking care of Ben.   | |

I like to think of this place as being like the Mos Eisley Cantina of dive bar fan sites, but in a good way

Woo hoo, nice to see something positive on here.
Yes, I'm a paid member. I was thinking.... here in Australia I would have paid approx: $60 for 3 CDs, probably another $30 for a t-shirt = $90 (the $77US was converted to $110AUD) and I get to be a member of his website, have a possible chance to see him live and see the new updates to the site... all for an extra $20. I've been a member of this site for many many years, basically since the get go ... I have nothing but positive things to say about the site and it's members, and moderators (yes, moderators!! ) I do not post often.But, whenever I do, there is always someone around to give some good advice, or reply. I truly enjoy reading the antics of the regulars around here, they are always good for at least one good chuckle a day. I come here every day and read up on everything and everyone. I may not "know" you personally, but somehow I feel I do. Kudos to Ben for running the site, and to the moderators, who to me try to the best for everyone. Thank you to all who have personally replied to me throughout the years, you guys have no idea how much a "stranger" can help you out personally!
