Prince.org Poll Alright. I'm not sure how many of you are married or have a boyfriend, or a girlfriend? My wife currently is upset with how much time I spend on the Org. So here are some questions to prove I'm not alone.
1. How much time do you spend on the Org? 2. How often is Prince playing in your house? 3. How much money do you spend a month on Prince? 4. How long have you been a fan(m)? 5. Is your other half a Prince fan(m)? 6. How often do you shop for Prince items? 7. Do your co-workers or friends give you a hard time for being a Prince fan(m)? 8. How much money do you spend a month on Prince? none...hahahaha! 4. How long have you been a fan(m)? since 1999...i was hooked instantly 5. Is your other half a Prince fan(m)? no 6. 1.it comes and goes...yesterday it was hours..today i'm gonna make sure that doesn't happen...ri-i-ight...sometimes i skip a couple days to catch my breath...
2.it hasn't been a lot lately...i'm sure when i get my 'one nite alone live' set that will change...i listen to him about once a week in the truck tho.. 3.a month? well, considering there isn't new material available monthly, not that much...however..if that was a yearly amount...it would be a lot...but i suck at math...so... 4.my whole life...or at least since i was about 12 or so... 5.i am my other half...ha...actually i don't have an 'other half..' 6.when there's something new available...or if i'm at some sort of cd shop that has rare or hard to find stuff...or if i just feel like lookin around ebay...i recently bought the prince comic book just cause... 7.no..they don't 'get it'..but nobody ever says anything bad...to my face...plus i don't really force my fandom on em or anything... 8.prince has influence my life in a whole lotta ways...he has been a very big and important part in a lot of aspects of my life... | |

1. How much time do you spend on the Org? It depends on the day... sometimes all day, other times a few minutes or not at all.
2. How often is Prince playing in your house? Lately, not at all... it's been a few months really. 3. How much money do you spend a month on Prince? The last Prince purchase of mine was about two years ago. 4. How long have you been a fan(m)? I've enjoyed his music since my dad played "For You"... my interest in his music progressed from there. 5. Is your other half a Prince fan (m)? He likes him, he thinks that he is okay... he pisses him off. 6. How often do you shop for Prince items? Rarely. 7. Do your co-workers or friends give you a hard time for being a Prince fan(m)? Yes. 8. How big of a part is Prince in your life? Not a large part at all. | |

1. How much time do you spend on the Org? the most time i've spent here is about two hours. 
2. How often is Prince playing in your house? surprisingly, not very... 3. How much money do you spend a month on Prince? about $5 a month (depends on how much an album is on vinyl) 4. How long have you been a fan(m)? been a freek 4 about 7 years 5. Is your other half a Prince fan(m)? i don't have an other half 
6. How often do you shop for Prince items? seldom, cuz i pretty much have everything i want, official-wise... 7. Do your co-workers or friends give you a hard time for being a Prince fan(m)?

My suspicion is that you're not pulling your weight around the house with domestic tasks OR you're not paying attention to her/your children and that's why she's mad...asking others about their Org habits isn't going to prove anything to her, if this is the case. | |

1. How much time do you spend on the Org?  Too much, but to my defense, I have to add it's because I am in my last semester in college, and have had a fairly easy one.
2. How often is Prince playing in your house? Ummm...maybe once or twice a week. Then it's a marathon! But not out loud, only with headphones on. 3. How much money do you spend a month on Prince? Nothing. $350 total this year for the Celebration, and membership.
4. How long have you been a fan(m)? 20 years. 5. Is your other half a Prince fan(m)? Hell no. My roommate cannot stand anything to do with him - I think it is jealousy. Stemming from all the attention Prince gets from women in general. 6. How often do you shop for Prince items? Never really. I used to, but not anymore, nothing to shop for!
7. Do your co-workers or friends give you a hard time for being a Prince fan(m)? Nope, they understand how happy it makes me most of the time! 8. How big of a part is Prince in your life?  Not half as much as he was back in the early nineties!

Some days a few hours, some days not at all... 2. How often is Prince playing in your house? A couple times a month. 3. How much money do you spend a month on Prince? This year I went to the celebration, bought one tank-top there, and maybe picked up a few used CDs I didn't have or were lost/worn out, etc. That's all. 4. How long have you been a fan? Since I was in about 3rd/4th grade. Whatever year Purple Rain came out. 5. Is your other half a Prince fan? Don't have one. 6. How often do you shop for Prince items? Very, very rarely. 7. Do your co-workers or friends give you a hard time for being a Prince fan? Nope! In fact, they all think it's cool. My old boss was a musician, so totally respects him, and nearly all my friends are at least casual fans. But I live in Minneapolis, so go figure. 8. How big of a part is Prince in your life? hmmm... There's definitely a presence, but I wouldn't say it overpowers. |
