Seriously though, God I've said this so many times over the years...the NPGMC forums were EXACTLY like any web forum/discussion board I've ever been a member of. There were plenty of people of every persuasion and mindset as here on the org and at HQ. If you think the discussion centred solely around Prince sycophancy and religious ramblings then you never stepped outside of U Smell Us or Knowledge. The Music, Member Connection, Concert Connection, AND Tell Us forums had near the knuckle humour, good laughs, honest critical discussion of Prince's music, career and developments on the website, as well as rants from absolute hardcore Prince detractors. Threads/posts were not deleted that often (I'm sure they were sometimes), they were occasionally locked when they got out of hand, the content was 100% generated by the active members, the balance was not altered artificially by the mods actions. Yes there was a curse filter but it did't stop you typing ****! in the first place. I made some good online friends there and I hope (but also think it's highly unlikely) that the new site has forums too. Just somewhere in the middle,

I wasn't there as regularly as here but when I went, there were people complaining about how Musicology wasn't as good as previous CD's or what Prince needs to do with this or that. I saw all of that there. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

There is not a chance in hell that there will be an open forum on Prince's website. His ego absolutely could not handle that.

Along came 3121.com which suddenly disappeared..... then one day Lotusflow3r.com appears ..... people sign up/join just like they did for NPGMC and 3121.com ..... Now when Lotusflow3r.com has had it's run it will disappear too and when it does then where will you go??
