It's very simple how this works.

If the mods agree with member's opinions or just plain like them personally, they get a pass to do whatever they want. Supa for example is an org veteran who seems to be a mod fave. He can post the most hateful and offensive posts, with no consequence.

Reporting posts to mods only works against those who the mods disagree with personally. Reports against mod faves generally go ignored, while the non faves get snipped, warned, and even banned. It's all a game of favorites.

There's also severe political bias with the mods. If you express right wing view points, watch out! The org life of a right winger generally goes like this: Express right wing opinion, get attacked personally by liberals, defend yourself, get banned. The mods like to ban right wingers because A: They don't like political diversity, and B: They get tired of getting reports from members.

The lifespan of a right winger on this site is very short unless they occasionally swing to the left and be PC. If not, the dogs will attack and someone will find an excuse to get rid of them.

One common method of banning right wingers and others who have opposing view points is to label them "trolls." Someone may have a great topic for discussion, but if it doesn't match the views of the masses, they get branded and accused of posting "offensive" material for the sake of starting trouble. It's much easier to label someone a troll than to debate their point.

The mods definitely use their power to shut people up when they disagree with their viewpoints. The org is a private site and the mods have been given the freedom to do whatever they want, but it doesn't have to be such a dictatorship.The"rules" should be more clear. The word "offensive" can be interpreted in a million ways. I can say I don't like Prince's hair style, and if the mods don't like me, they can say I made an offensive comment and then silence me.

So what it all comes down to is, be PC, express left wing view points or none at all, and kiss the mods' asses as much as possible. That's how yow survive on this site.

Not because they're "troublemakers" as you guys claim, but because liberals get so riled up that they have to try to shut them up. They can't help but to make the attacks personal but it's the conservatives that get blamed for "baiting" or "trolling."

Put some conservatives in a mod position and see if shit doesn't change around here.
