And yeah, from June's post - I think that the mods and Ben should have said at least something that acknowledged you'd read it, because the lack of responses when members have concerns is perhaps THE biggest problem this site has. You could've just said "Ok, we'll talk amongst ourselves" or "you're an idiot, fuck off". Anything to say that you'd read it.
Will the suggestions, both good/possible to implement or bad/impossible to implement even be considered? I don't think so. Again I arrive at that point I had so hoped we'd gotten past this time - to make mods understand that at this point in time, loads and loads of very appreciated long-time members (some of who have been around since the VERY beginning) feel alienated, ignored or outright bullied by other members and unfairly treated by moderators. At this point in time people who want to discuss things seriously (regardless of which forum we're talking about) can't do that for several reasons. The community, as it is now, is not working. Now we're here again, where everything is falling on dead ears. It is just a website but it's no longer even close to what it was created for - not even, or perhaps especially not, the discussion of Prince and his music.
Is your collective pride really worth wrecking this hugely appreciated website for?

I was a HQ member too but rarely posted. So Im not bitter. I was a shame it happened yes but nothing I can do about it. Whining wont solve anything either. Whatever will be, will be in that case. Move on.

certain mods on here...aite jus one (you know who you are) is a party pooper who i believe abuses their authority
besides that i dont think this site is that bad..good prince fan community

That's not to say that the mods are not nice people or anything, but it's obvious that some mods like some people and dislike others and it seems unfair. I think that mods should be refreshed every year or so, just to keep things fresh

I have to commend the mods for even entertaining this thread..it wouldn't have lasted 2 seconds on hq...I applaude the mods here for actually engaging in this conversation.

Not to say I don't have respect for some of the mods at hq...it's a thankless job for sure...but reading this thread, it is so similar in context. There are some wonderful mods on hq...Jose in particular, he was always so patient in his judgement...as some others were. Thank you so much Jose...Sevenny Nine, you always seemed fair and posted like members which in the end we all were?
