Consistently moved to P&R?

Sometimes on the specific request of some staunchy Prince fans?

Is that because some fans don't like to discuss Prince's opinion on homosexuals in that forum?

I find that strange. When people want to discuss Prince and his faith the discussion belongs in his forum. After all, the topic is about him then.

When somebody wishes to discuss the faith of Jehova Witnesses in general it belongs in P&R. The topic after all isn't about Prince then.

well, it could also be argued that the entire site is ostensibly about prince, so if a thread about his religion is moved to P&R, it's a valid and reasonable action.

Seriously, that forum could use a little life and some other topics with some more content than the usual superficial and boring drooling, sucking and choking many people in there do. But something tells me that's exactly the reason why those threads are moved.

Anyway, I don't really care. Just find it strange how all that goes down.

It has cooled down a bit by now hasn't it? If it's possible I would like to see some reasonable (well moderated) discussion on that issue take place in that forum, with those users viewpoints included. I am not so sure about the chances of that happening any day soon tho' because it seems to be pretty inflammable and many don't know how to deal with it, so to speak...

So 'dumping' it in the arena that is P&R may not be such a bad idea after all.

I think if it's a question about Prince, and Prince's beliefs (being JW), and how that affects his fans, then yes... PMM is fine. But, when it strays from that and becomes a full fledged discussion, rant, question/answer about JW's - then it's crossed the line and is moved as such.

I think, in general, we've been pretty fair about this. I don't believe every subject that has Prince's religion automatically gets thrown into P&R. It certainly depends on the subject and where the discussion goes from there.
