Does a democracy work? Look at the org.

Everybody can have their say and that's great.

but EVERYbody can have their say and that gets annoying at times.

Maybe the org should have a committee of orgers who could ascend to sage-like status and preside over the rating system and other such affairs with enlightened fairness.

U know, sometimes people need to be limited or held back a little in order for their creativity to have some focus. Boundaries in which to work are often a positive force to push against and stretch.

Same with the org methinks.

biggrin interesting idea... but I dunno what gave you the impression that the Org was a democracy... a couple of the people who don't like the site being moderated now maintain that the mods are a bunch tyrannical despots smile

Really? That's a shame. They obviously don't understand the hard work that goes into moderating and the hours of extra practise moderators put in at home snipping and locking on their org mock-ups.

It's not easy being an authority figure.

Bet u've never been called that before.

biggrin Yeah think of the hours spending practising our snipping technique. I can snip a flame from 200 meters away in 2 seconds flat! With my eyes closed!

Ah I'm glad to see racial stereotypes are alive and well! Some traditions need to be kept.
