Why doesn't prince.org get any exclusives from Prince? I've noticed a trend lately. Prince seems to be giving exclusive photos or information to sites like Housequake and/or Dr Funkenberry but the org never seems to be the first to get official exclusive info from Prince and his camp. Does Prince have something against prince.org? Are people here not doing enough to get exclusive information? Why is the org always a step behind with this?
I would like to see prince.org be another place where Prince and his people can send "breaking news" to, as well as HQ, Dr FB, Perez Hilton or any other website. I don't know what needs to change around here, if anything, for that to happen but it would be nice to see the org get some kind of a nice gesture from P & his team. What does everybody else think about this? I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

I guess it's because the focus of this site is more on the fan community and less dedicated to being a "hard news site" like HQ or a gossip blog like Dr. FB. We're kinda like the Purple Facebook or the Paisley MySpace, if ya will.
That said, we've taken some stabs at "exclusives" in the past, like when the .org interviewed Dr. Fink and Michael Bland a couple of years back. We're certainly not AGAINST running exclusive content - it's just not that crucial in terms of what this site's mission is, as opposed to the other sites you mentioned. | |

Book info / pics / Leno Tickets are examples. The book pics weren't exclusive though - we shared then with the org but it seems a miscommunication happened and Ben didn't pick up the emails. Prince is trying to share more things with the fan sites, there are no "personal vendettas) (right now at least  ) | |
