Threads posted with no comment According to the site rules:
If you want to start a new thread, make it worthwhile. Don't be lazy and give a 1-sentence "what do you think about X?". At least explain your position, why, etc... make it interesting to read; you're more likely to get quality responses. I realise that this is designed to get people posting but is there any way we can stop the massive influx of "cut and paste" threads with absolutely zero comment or input from the poster, they seem to just simply be an annoying way of spamming other users.

it would be nice if people would offer an introduction or a commentary in their own words when they swipe articles and post them on the org.
sometimes, the articles are self-explanatory, so we don't make it a hard-and-fast rule for people to provide supplementary commentary on these kinds of threads. however, in at least half the cases, the threads would make more sense if the person posting would give us a little bit of perspective as to why they chose to share the article on the org. while it's not a rule for them to do so, sometimes the success of the thread can count on the poster giving us a little bit of "why" as to the purpose of sharing the article.

My thread in P&R http://prince.org/msg/105/278903 and like most I post there and have for over 4 yrs isn't even about spamming nor annoying other users So my "cut and paste" threads would be stopped because ? Sometimes I do add a personal comment and most times It isnt about "ME" - it's posted because I feel the info within may be very interesting to another No one is forced to enter a thread and read it nor comment on it
