I've never been able to get into Housequake. Me either. I only go there if something major is happening.

I've never been able to get into Housequake. Me either. I only go there if something major is happening. I just said that 2 someone yesterday. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

Something about Housequake's format is offputting to me. This board is just a lot more accessible and user-friendly to me. It's made it hard for me to get into it over the years. As other people have mentioned, I pretty much only go there when big events are going on.

I'm a regular member of both sites but I prefer this one because it's easier to navigate than HQ, even though I know what to do now. Plus, there are more choices for stuff to talk about than over at HQ. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I think I went one time and the people in Chat were so very very rude and uptight I left and didn't have a desire to even look at the rest of the sight that's been a few yrs ago -may be worth a second try Cool info sos

I thought we were all fans of the same artist ? uhh...yeah! and your point? That reminds me of another reason why I prefer the org to HQ. The mods here are kind and generous with members here, while the mods on HQ can be quite rude, condescending and sometimes nasty with their members. It's not all the time but it's often. [Edited 6/5/08 9:31am] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

[Edited 6/5/08 9:31am] I hear you. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

They're definitely different over there.

I really didn't mean to take it there but I'm a regular on both and that's what I've experienced personally on the site and this one. When I think about it, it might explain why the figures you posted are the way that they are. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. I was over there the past couple of days, and I HATE their emoticons! I couldn't express myself the same way there... "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

Prince.org just got harder to read, or readers need better glasses or classes? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.
