Solving the mystery of the missing YouTube links Case in point.
The video in this thread ( http://prince.org/msg/8/269826 ) yields a "We're sorry, this video is no longer available" message. However, the video is available directly from the YouTube site: http://www.youtube.com/wa...Dhp5y5KI1c Whassup? tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I played it off the page.
But I do find that in some threads with vids it freezes my computer.

it's a youtube thing and not an org thing...it might be that the person who uploaded the clip is not allowing coding...or something like that. isn't that an option on youtube? Space for sale...

I just posted a YouTube video with absolutely no problem.
Just use the with the link, works fine. |

Before posting a vid on the org, always check the area marked "Embed" on the grey box next to the video.
If there's a code marked there, then'll it'll work on the org. If it's marked "Embedding disabled by request" ( as in this case), it'll will come up as "We're sorry, this video is no longer available". It means that the person who posted the vid does not want it to be available to be used anywhere else. [Edited 5/7/08 19:26pm]

I think it's the to imbed or to not imbed scenario that makes the most sense.
Thanks for taking the time. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."
