Way way way too much hate being served over in the P&R forum. I have always found it funny that a website that devotes itself to an artist who teaches "LOVE4ONEANOTHER"; allows such hate driven and angry threads/posts to be allowed. I have wished for years that Ben & Matt would close down the P&R forum and keep such posts from appearing here in the GD forum.

i like both forums equally. i think p&r could benefit greatly if more people from GD posted there regularly. oh, and conversely, the people who mostly post in p&r might be able to learn to chill a little more if they posted in gd a bit.

P&R isstill my fav forum.

I feel I can state my opinion in GD and it's taken as just that. My opinion. In P&R, it seems that voiced opinions are somehow turned into voiced facts and people get defensive about it. Some folks forget that not everything is black or white. There are gray issues where there is no wrong answer. And yes, there are definitely people there to argue, which is not really my style. If I feel like I have to argue with someone, you either caught me on a really bad day or you said something that pissed my ass off.

But to each their own. It's obvious that people like that forum. I don't like it and I exercise my right to steer clear of it.

Oh yeah, and I know NOTHING about politics or religion.

Apart from that P&R is a lot about the USA and thus I feel I don't have enough knowledge to take part whereas issues that are happening in Europe are of much less interest there. And the way people discuss there is more serious which includes a more sophisticated use of the English language and that makes it difficult for me at times to participate as well.

hopefully the new mods will be announced sooned. Mach and June are the only active mods over there so they get overwhelmed. Nikster I've noticed around a bit more lately but they really need more help there.
