Rules question

"Don't post orgNotes, e-mails or other private correspondence in public forums."

Does that mean any and all including your own orgnotes
Or just ones you receive from others ?

Thanx

Sometimes,
I send myself an org-note.
Just to remind myself that I exist.

Okay - How can this question have 2 answers ?

It's no wonder sometimes people give us Mods so much shit about the rules then ... sigh

Who wrote that rule and what was their exact intention ?

Ben ?

well, look at it this way, if you own your masters don't you have the right to publish it? if you wrote an orgnote, you can post it if you want...as long as you are not disclosing private information...but that's another rule.

keep in mind mods are human too...we make mistakes...and also keep in mind the mod portal for questions like this...which might have been the most productive channel for internal constructive criticisms.

unless your intent was to get the attention of a mod who does not use the mod list. (which has happened in the past.)

Mmmm this was in no way an attempt at constructive criticisms towards anyone - it was a question posed by an Orger ( several ) and because it has to do with site
rule(s) I thought we could all benefit from getting a public answer - here in "site discussion"

people want to know what the rules mean exactly and I feel also they have the right to know and understand them. Hell I want to know and understand them lol the answers here show how it can be seen both ways

My intent is as stated above

if we know theres confusion about something thought it might be best for us mods to flesh out our misunderstandings within the mod portal...i guess i should have suggested this in the first place prior to posting a contradicting post to luvs.

so with that in mind, i will reiterate my suggestion that this type of mod questioning is best left for the mod portal.

its a valid question...and once a consensus is reached maybe you can clarify to everyone else.

Okay - I think I understand your perspective on that though I may not agree. That was not meant to be directed @ you - so yes I made a mistake by attaching my reply to your post ~ apologies

The key point is that you should NOT repost any information sent to you privately, be it emails or orgnotes, or via some other channel. Just to keep things simple, I'd say also don't post orgnotes you sent others.

So if I asked a question of an orger in a private note then decided to ask it in the public forum, that's wrong?

This seems a bit much.

I assume if you post the question in public without mentioning you have written the same in an orgnote before it is okay. On the other hand what if the person you had orgnoted reports it and says you violated that rule hmmm? So that's a good question you are asking...
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....
