Just thought I should post 'phenomenon'! I've been receiving orgnotes from mysterious users. There have been SEVERAL (I mean, more than a handful) of which have not posted in threads but seem to communicate using orgnote only communication. It just seems weird that there are so many posers out there. I didn't realize how many there were.


Does an account remain active if the users never seem to use the account, as in posting?


I'm just wondering because I'm getting the game run on me here and it's not even funny!


I feel that this should be MADE AWARE OF since it happens in private, and it's not something obvious just from reading threads!

Please forgive, you know who you all are!

If someone is sending you threats or harrassing you when you've asked them to stop, please notify a moderator.
Also - you can block a user from sending you orgnotes, so you won't even see them.

And yes, it is possible to maintain an account and never post replies in the forums.

What I mainly get is random people I have never even heard of ornoting me for bootlegs, that kinda stuff.

One mysterious person was asking me all kinds of random questions about the idea of dating Prince... what'd it be like, do i care about his height, etc. got very strange

it might have been... one person I was talking to a for a while finally sent them when I was home during spring break or Easter... and I was downloading them to my memory stick where I have ALL of my Prince files backed up (music, pics and Word.docs)...
then a couple of months later, we had a cause of "Computer Blue" which my dad blames something I "downloaded" from this site
He says that message board itself is a download
Then my computer was slowed down severely by a crammed picture thread, so that could be something else...

I'll never know what we had a cause of "Computer Blue" (our computer fried and that was what we saw: blue screen)... but I don't want to blame this site on it it's done me so much good.

Thanks for that info about your computer. I've been having a lot of trouble with my computer lately and don't know what it is. Truthfully, all I ever do is visit this site while I'm on my computer. Just today, my antivirus thingie got lost. I don't know what happened to it. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but my computer problems are real, and now I'm wondering if it has anything to do with this site and when those hackers tried to hack into the system here a couple of months ago. I don't know nothing about computers so I don't even know if it's possible or whatever...


(Ummm, can you orgnote me the name of the person who was asking you all those questions, I'm wondering if it's the same person who was orgnoting me those strange questions.... does it start with a 'j'?)

I got one today from somebody who has posted but has no info on their profile... it linked to my profile and said "very interesting..." and that was all. Who cares, why bother?
