Animated GIFs as Avatars? Will this ever be allowed? I think it might be fun, but I'm sure there are reasons why they're not currently allowed (bandwidth, size, etc?)

Just curious... I've seen them on other forums, and there's something... I don't know, they seem less "classy" or something . Sometimes they can be entertaining, but they are mostly distracting to me.

Doesn't someone here have an animated Prince Symbol as their avatar? At least they used to. I know I used to see one around. They used to let us have gifs in our sig line, but I think a few people complained about it slowing down their computer.
